Location: Lee & Cates Glass, 5355 Shawland Road, Jacksonville, FL 32254
 
 
As a project manager, you’ll manage every detail of our commercial glazing installation process. You will work with general contractors as well as specialty architecture and custom commercial builders.
 
 

 To be Successful project manager, you’ll need: 
  • Blueprint reading skills
  • Understanding of commercial construction
  • Strong computer skills including computer-aided drafting, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with material take-off
  • Ability to create and manage timelines
  • Skill in open and timely communication with team members and subcontractors on each project
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • React to changing business needs; be creative and change gears with each unique project
  • Manage team contributions of designers, vendors, fabricators, installers and other key players
  • Effectively report to and communicate with your team and managers
  • Work independently, while also being a successful team player
  • Use established business processes and software to achieve and track progress and results
  • Two or Four year degree in construction management or equivalent work experience – glass and glazing preferred but not required
  • Valid driver’s license and driving record in good standing
 
Time / Experience
  •   3-5 years applicable experience in project and construction management
  •   Full time (not remote), benefit plans available, paid holidays and vacation, 401k
  •   pay based on experience and background
